How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.

“Do not rent here”

The place was spotless, but we were told we had booked a hotel and it turned out someone else had already taken it. We had to track down the host, who had no sign posted, and it felt like a scam. To avoid losing money, he drove us to a different house, and we stayed there because we had no other option; our ferry landed on Culebra Island at about 9:40 or 10:00 PM. On top of that, he charged us $218 a night, even though we never checked in, so we should have gotten at least a partial refund.

“À eviter!”

The place was clean, but almost everything was missing: no TV, no Wi‑Fi, a real bungalow that woke us up in the middle of the night with the roof dripping and a loud, hot noise. It was extremely pricey and far from anything.

“Quiet escape to play on a pretty bay for sunrise and sunset. Underrated. Photos online to me didn’t do this place justic”

Everything was thoughtfully arranged and well maintained, far surpassing my expectations. The patio, the layout of the property, and the private dock with a stunning view in every direction made it a bonus to have paddle boards and kayaks available. The only downside was the bed, which was hard; a padded mattress cover would help.

“No volvería a este sitio”

Nothing good to say. The room was a prefabricated shack in the middle of nowhere, with no view of the bay at all. There was no Wi‑Fi as promised, and the TV didn’t work. When I tried to check in, no one was there; I was sent a code but no room number. In short, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The location was great and the surrounding nature was inspiring. I liked having a table and chairs so I could work, and the pier was a nice touch. The owner was kind and friendly, and the spot was excellent. The place is a bit small, with no space to store clothes. The internet didn’t work, and the bath’s water containment system is poor, so water always ends up on the floor.
