The place was good.

The staff were friendly. The hotel itself is nice, but the food is very pricey and there are very few options around. For a 5‑star hotel it definitely falls short, especially for the price.

Honestly, the hotel feels like a 3‑ to 4‑star place at best; it's not very clean and the furniture is old. I booked a suite but switched to a smaller room because it was better. The suite furniture was very depressing. The restaurant called “Underground” is decent. The staff are helpful and cheerful, and they assisted me in changing my booking from a suite to a small room. The view is fantastic. Breakfast is simple. There is a toilet.

Definitely one of the best hotels we found in Munnar. So many positives: the staff’s attitude and hospitality, the food was simply outstanding, the resort’s location is worth everything, and the pool views are spectacular. Nothing to criticize.
