“Ideal for my purpose.”
I loved the location and the place was spotless; the dinner was fantastic and breakfast was fine, but the WiFi was weak and I stayed in room 17.
“Very enjoyable stay with everything handy.”
The historic hotel looked great and was in superb condition; it offered tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge, the dinner we had was beautifully presented and tasty, and the next‑day breakfast in the dining room was also tasty and well presented, but the double room was too small for the bed to fit comfortably, and the fireplace made the space between the foot of the bed and the mantelpiece feel cramped.
“We’re going to lol for more reasons to visit this part of Victoria just stay here again”
The place was simply gorgeous, the hosts were great, and the cafe/bistro was excellent.
“Beautiful hotel. Well located in Maryborough.”
The old hotel was charming with a lot of Victorian character, the room was nice and the place was well situated—just a short walk to the train station, supermarket and restaurants—so I’d return when I’m nearby, though the kitchen didn’t open early enough for breakfast.
“Wonderful”
The hotel was housed in a historic building with an amazing staircase; our room was lovely, tastefully decorated, and had a superb ensuite, we needed nothing else, the hosts were very obliging, and all meals were available on site, and we had no complaints—everything was good.
