I couldn't resist the homemade 50% alc. Volume, 15‑year‑old brandy that the owner offered free during my stay; it was delicious and we shared a few glasses in the evening. The owner is friendly and loves chatting about Armenia, so you learn a lot. The house’s equipment feels a bit dated, but everything still works and just needs a little renovation.

The owner greeted us with a taste of his personal cognac stash, and we felt right at home from the get-go. The rooms were clean, cozy, and had that family‑room vibe. Breakfast was generous and hearty—definitely worth a visit.

Babbkin treated us like royalty in Vernashen. The room was roomy with a lovely little terrace, and the host gave great tips and helped plan our regional tours. Highly recommend.
