Hotel Maximilian

The owner is incredibly kind and friendly, and chatting with her feels like catching up with an old friend, almost family‑like. She gave great suggestions for sights and places to go, and the conversation was full of impressions. The staff were also very pleasant, the food from the menu was delicious, and breakfasts were all fresh—highly recommended. Pets are welcome, which is another plus. The only downside was the lack of a kettle in the room; I always brew tea before bed. The fridge was also missing, but we managed.

The inn sits in a quiet spot and the staff, especially the owner, were incredibly friendly and always on hand to help. She even pointed us toward some remote motorcycle routes with breathtaking scenery. The only thing missing was a covered place to park our bikes, but that didn’t spoil the pleasant week we spent there.
