Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of dishes. The dining room was beautiful.

“Disappointing experience. Did not live up to its self-description as a mansion.”

The staff were friendly, but my room was tucked in an auxiliary wing in a parking lot behind the manor, just a stone’s throw from a large party tent full of dozens of screaming revelers dancing to loud music with an MC on a loudspeaker. The lack of privacy from the neighboring tent blocked access to the pool and hot tub. The bathroom was stained and dirty. Food was overpriced and subpar—raw tuna, overcooked risotto, canned corned beef hash—definitely not fine dining.

“Nice stay.”

The stay was fine overall, with a nice breakfast and dinner, but I had to climb many stairs.

“I booked through a third party and it was way overpriced and we didn’t receive a senior discount.”

The place was clean, but the jacuzzi jets didn’t work, the food wasn’t as good as before, dessert selections were fewer, and it seemed understaffed.

The location is good and has beautiful scenery. The bathroom was dirty. They say dinner is included, but actually, it isn't; once you sit at the table, they tell you what you can eat for free—like salad. 🤯
