The problem is, the rooms with this view are a bit of a letdown, and the location itself can be a bit of a trek to get to. Still, if you're looking to unwind and connect with the great outdoors, this place delivers. Just don't expect luxury or convenience.

We had high hopes for this hotel, especially considering it was the priciest we booked in India. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the cost. The location was great, and the pool area was a lovely spot to relax. The surroundings were also beautiful, with plenty of greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. However, the food was a letdown - it was just okay, not particularly impressive. Overall, it was an average stay, but not one that I'd rave about.

This place is a birdwatcher's paradise, literally. The Jawai lake/dam is right on your doorstep, and I spent hours walking down to the shore, spotting Sarus cranes, flamingos, and all sorts of shore birds. The hills behind the resort are home to peafowl and Hanuman langurs, which I got to see up close every day - it was a real treat. The leopard safaris were a blast, and I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a nilgai and an Indian Eagle Owl.
