The vibe felt like a good, but student‑like dormitory. The furniture was fairly old, but everything worked. The room had a kettle, TV, and mini‑fridge. Cleaning happened every day, which is rare for Armenia. The room was very warm. The lifts were nearby. Only three power outlets for the whole room, two of which were used by the TV and fridge, so to turn on the kettle you had to unplug something. One outlet was for personal use and it wasn’t by the bed—very little. The furniture and plumbing were old.

Clean room, heater on fire—kept the room toasty. Kids ran around the hallway, barged into my room a few times, and even knocked on the door until about 1 a.m., but nobody seemed to mind. If you’re traveling with little ones, this spot will keep them busy.

The view from the window is gorgeous and the room feels snug, but there was no shower curtain or floor towel to catch the water that dripped onto the floor.

The place is right by the slopes, so you’re never far from the action. The only hiccup? They promised a wife, and there was none.
