I booked a room, only to find the hotel was shut down when I got there. The address on the map was wrong, and even the hotel’s own site listed the same spot. I tried calling, got a dead‑voice reply, and was told to WhatsApp the number—no response. After a while, I finally got a message saying the place was closed, so I cancelled through the booking site. I messaged the hotel on WhatsApp to confirm the cancellation and asked why they’d let me book a closed property, but got nothing back.
