I had a decent breakfast, but the bed was the worst I've ever slept in. The pool area near the beach was lacking sun loungers, and our evening meal was incorrect, with something else being delivered instead of what we ordered. The hotel also lacked facilities for our clothing.

While the pool area by the beach was nice, it was a shame that there weren't enough beds, and you had to get up early to secure one. The rooms were designed okay, but the aircon was poor, and the beds were terribly uncomfortable. The food was adequate at best, and the service was appalling. We were served the wrong thing multiple times, and the pool areas had little to no shade or umbrellas.

The hotel's beautiful grounds and friendly staff were a highlight, and there were several small restaurants in the area. However, the location was somewhat isolated.

As a couple, we were among the airport travelers, staying for two weeks in February. The hotel was a bit far from the airport, but only a 15-minute drive away. The nearest services, including a convenience store and a few spas, were about a 2-kilometer walk away. There was a taxi stand right next to the hotel, and a trip to the village cost 200 baht. The hotel's beach had two excellent Thai restaurants on either side. The beach itself was quite steep, but we were able to swim easily.

Our family had a very pleasant stay, perfectly located in Mai Khao, which made it a calm and relaxing spot. We weren't crowded on the beach, and there were small pools, a slide, and a swing for kids (note that there's no kids' club). The view from the main pool was lovely, and the complex itself was charming and pleasant, especially considering the price.
