How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The staff were friendly and the bed felt clean and comfy, which was a nice start. Unfortunately the room itself left a lot to be desired – the coffee maker was still dirty, there was trash on the bathroom floor and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been deep‑cleaned in ages. The entrance, gym carpet and other common areas were also pretty grimy, so overall the place felt poorly maintained.

There was no breakfast offered at all, and the lobby smelled off and seemed unclean. It made the stay feel a bit unpleasant from the get‑go.

The building has no elevators, which turned out to be a real hassle for older guests trying to reach the third floor. It’s hard to recommend for anyone who isn’t comfortable with stairs.

The front desk clerk was genuinely kind and handled everything professionally, which was a relief. The rest of the hotel, though, felt like a rundown set – the pool, hot tub and restaurant have been out of service since 2021, the huge room reeked, the sofa bed was broken, the balcony door wouldn’t open and the sink was clogged. It honestly looked like something out of a horror movie, but at least we weren’t charged when we left.

The train display was a nice touch, but the hot tub was still under construction, so I couldn't use it.
