“Wow!!! Just perfect , the Best hosted B&B ever !!!”

WOW!!!! One of the best hosted B&Bs we have ever stayed at in the world!!! Marika’s home is absolutely stunning, layered with perfectly curated collections; this property is superbly designed with an absolute amazing eye for detail and an absolute delight to walk around. It was such a beautiful blend of an ancient stone building, incorporating contemporary design and finishes; the open glass floor in one of the living rooms had a view of an old well from days gone by. The breakfasts she prepares every day come straight from her huge Sicilian heart and you feel it in every bite… She even advised us on some amazing restaurants and helped book them for us; she was also very knowledgeable about everything in the area and we loved having someone who had that much passion for her home and country. The bedroom was amazing, the beds huge and so comfortable that we overslept a few times because of how comfy they were. She also offered to help us with transfers to and from the airport, with an amazing driver who dropped us right at the front door, and cheaper than any transfer we tried to organize ourselves. I can’t speak more highly of the time we spent here; I only wish we had more time to stay, as it truly was one of the highlights of our 9‑week Europe trip. Leaving 😔

“Lovely spacious rooms in the historic center of palermo with an exceptional breakfast”

Marieke, the owner, takes great pride in her beautiful eclectic B&B. Our large room was spacious, with a comfy king bed and a private attached bathroom. Everything was super clean. This historic palazzo has many modern touches, and the location is in the historic center yet very quiet—literally an oasis from this busy tourist‑filled city. Tons of restaurants and bars are all around. Her daily, personally prepared breakfast was excellent, fresh, filling, and beautifully presented. She was gracious, helpful, and coordinated a taxi service to take us to the airport (take advantage of this if you want a private transfer service). Highly recommend and we would definitely return here in the future.

“the best bnb hostess ever o. our travels anywhere”

The breakfasts were superb, each day offering a different Sicilian specialty made by our wonderful host, Marika, and the room with its courtyard—a bonus—was incredibly comfortable. Everything was great; Marika went out of her way to make us feel at home and we left as friends.

“Estadia acolheradora, café da manhã e localização excelentes.”

The breakfast is typical Sicilian, different each day. It’s in the historic center but on a very quiet street, 1 km from Palermo’s main train station. On‑site parking is available, which is rare. The service is welcoming, full of attention and friendliness, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The cleaning and café attendant is very friendly, polite and helpful, making you feel at home.

The location is close to the historic center. The refined breakfast is served at the table, the rooms are clean and the housekeeping works every day, and the beds are comfortable. The street is inaccessible to taxis, and the ground‑floor room has almost no natural light but is superbly furnished and decorated.
