Finding affordable accommodation outside the capsule world in Hong Kong is tough, yet this place is decent given its location, quality, and price. The hotel’s atmosphere and décor felt authentically Hongkongish beyond its simplicity. Culturally, Asian beds tend to be very firm, which I prefer softer ones, and the room’s noise isolation could be better; I always use earplugs, but those unaccustomed may struggle to sleep with traffic and bus noise on Wan Chai street.

The location is fine, but there is no elevator, making it unsuitable for travelers with luggage or long stays. The room is too small to comfortably fit two people; one would have to sit while the other walks in. The staff are rude and the place is not very accommodating.

The staff were supportive, but there is no elevator.

The location is good, but the price is high, cleanliness is only approximate despite regular maid visits, and the lack of an elevator plus the narrow room are drawbacks.
