“It was probably one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in with an enormous bathroom. And kitchen! Room no 1”
We had the liveliest, biggest room ever.

The room was lovely, spacious, well arranged, and had everything you could need; breakfast at Byfords was great, and I’d definitely return.

The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, we enjoyed a delicious dinner, and overall it was a very pleasant stay.

A cozy hotel that doubles as a pub, our room turned out to be a spacious apartment with a kitchen—very comfortable and spotless. Parking is handy right behind the hotel at Budgens. Breakfast was a voucher for the stunning Byfords across the road, arguably one of the best breakfasts we've tasted. The only downside was the uneven stairs and odd steps typical of an old building.

Everything was lovely—great location, friendly staff, a big room, and especially the breakfast at Byfords. Nothing to complain about.
