The hotel was comfortable, but there were too few spots for lunch—one morning we couldn’t find any seats at all.

There wasn’t enough seating, so we ate on the sofa and the coffee table in reception both mornings; the dining and reception areas were inadequate for the crowd, with lines for food and all tables full on both days. The mattresses creaked whenever we shifted positions, which rattled me as a light sleeper whenever my husband moved or got up for the bathroom. At 1 am, loud conversations in the hallway went on for a while, and the AC unit rattled at times when it was running.

The price was lower than what you’d pay closer to Jasper, and while it’s not “fancy,” the place was spotlessly clean and shockingly quiet—early‑morning suitcase rolls were muffled. The included breakfast offered plenty of healthy, filling options, and we slept soundly.

The breakfast was solid, but the lift was a bit slow and didn’t behave like a normal lift, even though I managed to use it.
