The staff were friendly and the location was spot on for my short visit; I was surprised to find a decent freezer and fridge, and the Keys Café next door was fantastic. The hotel was completely safe and quiet, but the “motel” vibe was obvious and the cleanliness inside was a bit sketchy.

The place was spotless and the shower had plenty of hot water, but the beds were very uncomfortable and there was nothing to make coffee in the room; the lobby had no coffee because it was closed, and I was there on a Sunday when I woke up. TV channels were limited, and the price was high for what you get—there are nicer spots for about $40 less per night.
