The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, so I could relax easily. It would be helpful if they added a coin‑laundry machine on each floor.

The location was great, especially for the jazz festival, and I could get to Nakasu by bus with the stop right outside the hotel. I was stopped by security one evening before the elevator, even though I showed my key and asked what was wrong; the guard apologized and pressed the elevator button for me. As a Japanese living in the States, I felt like I was profiled, and the front desk sometimes just stared at me when I returned in the evening. I was traveling solo and never had a guest with me. I received blank looks or no acknowledgement at times, which was a bit sad, but otherwise everything was fantastic.

Breakfast was wonderful, featuring spaghetti and mostly fried chicken that was juicy and crispy. The only downside was the view.

Breakfast was free and they offered a free phone charger. The shelf above the bed in the room was covered in dust and needed a good wipe‑down. Some front desk staff were friendly while others were not; the housekeeping staff were all very kind. The biggest disappointment was that after checkout, luggage storage was paid; I don’t know why it changed to a fee, but it was very inconvenient. If luggage storage were free, this three‑star hotel in Tenjin would be the best.
