“Enjoyable and nice break away”

The room was lovely and very modern, and the outdoor garden was beautiful and relaxing to be in; however, our downstairs room was noisy because of activity above.

“Great value and friendly evening staff”

We arrived in the evening and were greeted at the gates by a friendly host who made us laugh right away; breakfast was great for the price of the room, though no drink was included, which wasn’t a problem; the only hiccup was that we didn’t receive a key for the first night because no one knew how to program a new one, but it was fixed quickly the next morning.

Nothing. Horrific. Couldn't find booking on system initially, went to room - couldn't access it - handyman up and down stairs 3 times with battery as apparently someone had slammed door and battery fell out on otherside. Shitshow. Taken to new room, no battery in lamp, all the bedroom furniture knobs had fell of and stuck in bottom drawer. Flat screen TV on wall at an angle. Forget watching anything apart for BBC1 or BBC2 as don't work. Gangsters arguing outside all night, another guest kicking off about shit TV, another coughing his guts up all night, dead body 500 yards away on arrival. Building site opposite making horrendous noise from 7am. Free Parking a joke - you would not leave car on the road and £20 per night additional charge to put away safely. Inept idiots, absolute shithole avoid at all costs!!

People were noisy well after midnight, and the staff looked exhausted and annoyed in the mornings; I couldn’t finish breakfast before the plates were taken away.
