The room was very large and we had a downstairs room with a balcony overlooking the river, which was beautiful. The restaurant food was good and plentiful, and the staff were extremely friendly. We had to figure out where to check in, it was far from other restaurants, and it felt more like a young people's hotel.

The renovated room was spacious with a great river view, a Route 66 vibe, ceiling fans, value for money, and a large TV. The train runs very close to the motel, but the kids liked them and they hadn't used horns, so the noise at night was fine. Check‑in/out was in a separate building (the gift shop) accessed by a dirt road.

Nice, spacey and new room with many amenities. Good view from the window. Very close and loud train line - have earplugs with you. There was note on the table in the room related to complimentary earplugs but those are not provided. Plus not easy to find person responsible for check-in

The location on the water was nice, the view from the room was good, and the room was well appointed. Train tracks were close by but they didn’t keep me up at night. The breakfast at the restaurant was good.

The pool was fantastic and having everything on site—room, restaurant, breakfast—was convenient, especially for those traveling on Route 66. The location had freight trains passing 100 m from the property continuously, even at night; it was annoying. In the rooms the air‑conditioning was too strong and noisy, and the set‑point could not be raised above 76 °F, which was too cold, so we had to turn it up each night and then turn it back down.
