Breakfast was good with coffee, juice, lactose‑free milk, hot and cold water, tea bags, fresh croissants, and packaged cornetti or rusks; the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. A shared kitchen had everything you’d need. The location was fine for us, between Monte Pellegrino and the ferry port, and a good starting point if you want to swim in Mondello or arrive by ferry, but to reach the city center you have to take a bus.

“Sufficient place to sleep, clean and neat. If you like walking 30-40 minutes there and back.”

The interior was clean, modern, and everything worked well, but the dockside location was noisy with factories that bang at 6:45 am and random sirens, and the view showed a factory from my window. Walking with luggage along dirty streets was tough, and although earlier reviews said the location was good, learning how the buses worked was tricky and they were never on time, so the location felt less ideal for me. A 30‑40 minute walk to and from town was not enjoyable, and I wish I’d known that beforehand.

The property is new and well maintained; it’s a bit far from the center, almost an hour’s walk, but that’s fine if you like walking. I’ll stay here again next time I return to Palermo. The parking is right underneath the building.

“Pernotto x lavoro.”

The B&B sits in a setting that doesn’t do it justice, but once you step into the lobby you forget that; quietness, cleanliness, and courtesy more than make up for it. I recommend it.
