The location and view were simply a dream. Especially if you like peace and being away from the bustle, this is the ideal accommodation. The hosts are very warm, and the breakfast buffet’s wide selection left absolutely no wish unfulfilled. There was nothing we didn’t like!

The sunset from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, and the view kept us glued to the windows all evening. The staff were genuinely friendly, always ready with a smile, and we even got to chat with a few other guests who were staying at the same time. All in all, a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

The inn’s personnel were warm and gave us great local tips, and the surrounding landscape was picture‑perfect, complemented by tasty meals. The rooms themselves were spot‑on, but the lift operators were surprisingly curt, which was a bit disappointing even though it’s not the inn’s fault. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable thanks to the hospitality inside.

The food was top‑quality and the room felt just as nice, though the beds were a tad too soft for my liking. Unfortunately, the next‑door guest suffered from a sleep disorder and was pacing the hallway all night, and the kids’ shouting added to the noise. It was a mixed bag – great comforts but a noisy night.

My girlfriend and I felt right at home at the Berggasthof Edelweiß; the welcome was warm and the room was spotless and tastefully arranged. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the meals were delicious, and the innkeepers and their sons went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We left happy and will definitely be back.
