The room was big, spotless and felt really comfortable. The host went out of their way to help us, and the complimentary bikes let us zip around town without needing a car. We’d definitely book this place again.

The owner handed us a bike, which made getting into the city both easy and fun. It was a simple gesture that really improved our stay.

Our room was great – air‑conditioning kept us cool even when it hit 40 °C outside, and the bed was large and comfy. The bathroom was roomy, complete with a sauna, shower and separate toilet, and the host was extremely welcoming. Late check‑in and check‑out went smoothly, though we had to pay a small fee to leave the car, which wasn’t mentioned ahead of time.

Everything about the place was spot‑on: a tiny house tucked in a garden that felt like a little wellness retreat, and a prime spot in Mechelen. The host was unbelievably attentive, seeming to anticipate every need. We had no complaints at all.

We couldn’t have asked for more – Veerle was warm and welcoming, the house itself was beautiful and impeccably clean, and the service felt truly exceptional. We made good use of the washer, dryer, back terrace, garden and the kitchen area, and the kids loved the games provided. Its location is ideal: a short walk to central Mechelen yet tucked away on a quiet, leafy street. Would definitely return.
