“Nicht zu empfehlen”

The room was tiny, cluttered with old, useless furniture, and it was far from the city center. The owner wouldn’t let me unload my luggage early, even though it could have been done. Calling it a B&B is misleading because there’s no breakfast, no coffee machine, and no kettle.

“Bed SENZA breakfast”

The room was spacious and welcoming. Because it’s marketed as Bed & Breakfast, you’re legally required to offer breakfast; otherwise it’s just a room rental. In our case we were shamelessly told “there is no breakfast,” with no apology or attempt to fix it. With two kids, that caused a lot of trouble. They never answered the phone, only text messages.

Getting there is easy, the bathroom is large, the beds are comfy, and the staff were friendly. It lacks a wardrobe for clothes, and the shower is a bit damaged.
