From the Staldenried area (where you reach Gspon and the Gsponer Panoramaweg by cable car) you arrive at a classic 18th‑century Walliser wooden house that has been beautifully restored; at the top of a very versatile flower meadow, reached via a short path from the road (the car stays above), you can enjoy the evening quiet and the view of the fantastic surrounding mountains; the bed is on a landing accessed by a narrow, fixed, ladder‑like staircase, so you need to be quite mobile.
