“Buona posizione, ma non il massimo”
The apartment sits in the perfect spot for visiting Bergamo Alta, right in the historic centre. Check‑in was smooth and quick; the host reached out via WhatsApp with the keys and codes. The room was spacious for two and we liked the two bottles of water in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Overall, a good place to spend a night. Unfortunately the walls are thin and you hear everything—people talking outside, hallway noise, and neighbours. The bathroom on the ground floor had a small window that opened onto the building’s courtyard, just 10 cm from the door; if it had been left open, everyone in the courtyard could see into the bathroom (there were no grilles, so they could even enter). The room had a lot of dusty cobwebs on the beams and occasionally on the furniture. Wi‑Fi works but isn’t very fast. The price isn’t cheap; we paid about 110 € for one night (two of us).
