Coffee and breakfast were amazing 👏, hot water and air‑conditioning are a bonus, close to Central Park and restaurants 😋. The room door opens into the coffee shop seating area, so there’s some early‑morning chatter. 🤷♂️

Super clean, always friendly, delicious breakfast, would come back many times to the same place. Everything is super close and accessible in the area, I felt at home 🫶🏻❤️

The breakfast was good and the portion size was fair, and the young staff at check‑in were friendly. However, the room was filthy: the beds were made, but when I removed my shoes and walked in, the floor was sticky and dirty; the bathroom had a shower that hadn’t been washed and a dead cockroach on the floor. On the first night, a huge cockroach crawled onto a bunk bed, so we moved the bed to look for it, only to find webs, dust, more dead cockroaches, and long‑standing grime that was truly disgusting. Inspecting the whole room revealed more dirt and webs; the kitchen wall inside also looked dirty and scratched. I’m not sure if the owner ever checks the place or just accepts it as normal, but it’s a shame because the café is nice and should be kept in better condition for better service.

The staff were friendly and the room was quiet at night. The only downside is that the place is a coffee shop that rents rooms off the courtyard (part of the café). This means that during the café hours (about 9 am to 6 pm) guests sit in the furnished courtyard right in front of the room, creating a normal level of conversation noise. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s fine. After 6 pm it gets quiet, and the courtyard can be used as a lounge area. Breakfast, including coffee/cappuccino, is great! The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.
