“Exactly what I needed!”

I stayed at Serendip for two months while working with WECare, the local street dog charity. My room was comfortable, and Nisha, the caretaker, cleaned it weekly and prepared breakfast for me daily, genuinely looking after me throughout. Everything I needed was available—laundry and kitchen facilities were very handy. I can't think of anything negative.

The accommodation was spacious with a lovely garden. The host was ultra‑nice and always made different delicious breakfasts for us, which was truly the highlight of our stay. :)

We were greeted with a refreshing drink. The location is quiet and walkable from the bus stop. We could do laundry and there was a kitchen for self‑catering. The beach is within walking distance and not overcrowded. We extended our stay by one night. The only issue, like most places in the country, is the lack of hanging options; a simple wall bar with hooks would suffice.

“Excellent value for money, comfortable and great host”

Breakfast every day was lovely; I had to get up early for work, and a vegan breakfast was always ready on time. The only drawback was occasional road noise, but that's common throughout Sri Lanka.
