The location was very good—you could stay there and just listen to nature. The staff didn’t understand English or Thai, even though I tried Google Translate, but the owner was super nice. I brought my own food and they let me cook it. The Jacuzzi wasn’t working well; you had to fill it with water, plug it in, and it started working immediately, and to stop it you had to unplug it. We filled the bath with hot water and relaxed, though it was a bit cold and rainy. The kitchen outside was lacking utensils and had no grill as shown in the photos, but the inside kitchen was more than enough as described.

The views would have been amazing without the cloud cover, but we weren’t lucky. The property looks great on paper, and we managed to fill the tub with warm (definitely not hot) water. From check‑in to ordering food (which was very limited or required advance notice), to check‑out, nothing was smooth. No one spoke English, and we struggled with Google Translate. Most of our questions were met with “no” or puzzled looks. It took a long time to check out (fortunately we only stayed one night), and they had no change, so we just let them keep the extra few hundred Baht. Roosters and chickens crowed all night and during the day. We were hoping for the peace of staying far from the trendy spots, but that didn’t happen.

We arrived to find our reservation had been cancelled, and the staff tried to locate an alternative property for us. They eventually secured a replacement and I received a full refund three weeks later. The only downside was the late notification that our booking was cancelled because I had already booked a taxi.

The view from the room was fantastic and the features of the room were excellent. There was nothing to complain about.
