The area was quiet and cozy, but junk cars, carts and other stuff on the entrance gave a bad vibe. The host’s friendly attitude improved the feeling a bit. The accommodation itself was not pleasant, unfortunately. The décor was spartan and mixed; the bathroom was somewhat untidy, and there was an unspecified odor I tried to ventilate. I don’t like writing negative things but it had to be said. I would not book here again. I also declined the free and later the breakfast offered by the host, which might have improved the experience.
The hosts were friendly, but the description was misleading—there’s no spa or pool, the place feels worn out, and they probably need to fix their listing. I can’t recommend it.
Breakfast was good, and the hosts were helpful.
“Prisvärt”
A beautifully renovated old barn with all the comforts you’d expect, and the owner was impressively knowledgeable about the history. The signage to get there could have been clearer; I just followed the Google map.
“Original Schwedische Unerkunft.”
This is how Swedes live in the countryside. The owner even speaks German, and breakfast in his communal kitchen was a hit; perfect for a layover night. The only downside is the absence of a pool.
