“The Virginian is a great place to stay and relax while visiting the sites of WY.”
The grounds were fun with corn holes and fire pits, but there was no breakfast.

The location was perfect, the room was comfortable, and the grounds were beautiful; the on‑site burger place made grabbing a quick bite easy, and we hope to return.

The Virginian sits just south of Jackson’s downtown and feels like a solid resort. On‑site they have a restaurant and a saloon that host entertainment a few times a week, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We liked soaking in the hot tub and hanging around the fire pits, which made it easy to meet other travelers. The only downside was that Jackson’s prices are outrageous; compared to other local hotels this place is “affordable.” I also wished there was a fitness room on site, so we ended up using a nearby off‑property gym.

The hotel was very nice for a moderate price and the staff was amazing! The only problem was a banging sound in the room behind us, like an animal trying to escape from the bathroom—there was no whimpering, so it might not have been a dog. The heater/AC unit also made a little noise.
