The bed was super comfy and the downstairs area looked fresh and modern, while the room itself was spotless. The staff were welcoming and helpful, but the bedroom felt a bit outdated with mismatched furniture, and the cooked breakfast arrived cold, which was a real let‑down given how good it usually is.

“Ideal for what we needed though thought cost of the room was expensive”

Fast Wi‑Fi, a bathroom the size of the bedroom, and a location that met our needs made for a good stay, and the breakfast was decent with a comfy bed. However, the hotel needed some paint in spots, the carpets were peeling at the edges, and the room cost was a bit high.

“Enjoyed my stay at the hotel, wouldn't hesitate to rebook if l was in the area again.”

Breakfast was excellent with a solid selection, the bar area and other seating spots were nice, and right after checking out I was headed to a nearby Heritage Aviation Centre; the receptionist let me leave my motorbike bag at the hotel, saving me from lugging it around, and I returned for a few hours later—very helpful.

“Could be made into a beautiful classic hotel if money were to be spent on it.”

Location to the village was great which meant dining out was a good option. The staff were very friendly and breakfast perfectly adequate. Needs a good refurbishment as the property is old and carpets were frayed, chairs had flaking leatherette. Outside paintwork needs doing. The tread from the bathroom had lifted meaning a trip hazard. A very basic hotel that has so much potential
