The location was good, but parking was complicated. No one was on site to help us with the luggage. They mentioned an elevator, yet there were still stairs to reach it, and once inside we had to climb about twenty steps to get to our room. My husband and I have back issues, so that was not funny.

The room itself was spacious, yet the parking was far from the hotel, with many stairs in the building and an elevator that didn’t skip any floors. The shower smelled musty, was unclean, and the water pressure was weak, taking about 20 minutes to heat. There were no outlets in the room, so I had to unplug a lamp to charge my phone, and one lamp didn’t work; they promised to check it the next day. The neighborhood was filled with Palestinian flags, making nighttime walks uncomfortable (Katane generally has more immigrants than other parts of Sicily). One floor tile was not attached.
