“Very nice property but inquire in advance about how booked they are”

The room, grounds, and staff were all very nice, but a corporate event was happening at the same time, and the small pub was taken over by the attendees before and after their private dinner, feeling like Temple Bar on a Friday night. We stayed in one of the 11 castle rooms, which is on the pricier side and we expected to enjoy all the amenities. If we had known the corporate guests would overwhelm the small pub and terrace, we probably would have added an extra day in Galway and skipped Kilkea. Management should have warned all leisure guests in advance so we could have made different plans.

“Hope we get to stay there again!!”

Everything was positively wonderful! The grounds were gorgeous and the staff we met there were warm and friendly. Evan from the bar was very friendly! Nothing negative.
