Overall, it was decent. Everything I needed was available. The spot right on Maidan is great, with good subway and bus connections. The price is reasonable, breakfast is very good, and the staff, including the cleaners, are friendly. Watch out for the reception. I paid the full amount in cash at check‑in on 24.09‑26.09, and they initially quoted an inflated price that was later corrected. On 25.09 a different receptionist told me I had only paid for one night and took back the key. I asked him to clarify with the previous colleague. When I returned, they again claimed only a one‑night deposit had been made and only gave me the key after I paid again. This was not a misunderstanding but a clear business practice. Be cautious with cash payments, even if they say the card machine failed; if there’s no other option, avoid paying without a receipt.

Located in central Kyiv, but if you’re a tourist, you can only reach the hotel on foot, leaving your car outside the perimeter. The breakfast is “all you can eat” style and better than in Lviv or Odesa. Service is good. They say pets are allowed when booking, but they don’t mention extra fees, and the room you get will have a 1980s vibe.

I liked staying at this older hotel in central Kyiv. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The rooms were small but comfortable, with a nice view of Maiden Square, and the seventies décor was a highlight. Breakfast was a nice bonus. The rooms lacked tea or coffee making facilities, which was odd.

The location is convenient, the hotel has all the comforts, and the breakfast included in the room rate is fantastic—after that, you can skip lunch. We’ll come again! The staff are accommodating in every matter and very polite.
