The location was great.

After a full day of travel we arrived in La Spezia around 22:00, eager to reach the accommodation; walking from the station was convenient, about fifteen minutes through central streets full of restaurants and tourists, and we never felt unsafe. The arrival and self‑check‑in were very practical, and after so many hours of travel, finding a large, modern, very clean room with a spacious bathroom and comfortable beds was perfect. Although the room had no natural light because the windows faced an air shaft, the light colours and high ceilings made it feel open. We also noted the excellent air‑conditioning, the only hotel in Italy where it worked flawlessly! The lodging is on the first floor of a building with an elevator and feels very safe. The rooms on the same floor resemble a hotel with its reception. The location is very good: two blocks to the centre with many restaurants, and a few more blocks to the port where you can take a boat to explore Cinque Terre. We also appreciated the kindness of the lady at reception—though we can’t remember her name—who was always ready to help. We asked her about a nearby laundry and she found one a couple of blocks away; if you need to wash clothes, we recommend it—you can drop them off and the staff will take them to the dryer, and you just pick them up when ready. Personally we found the best carbonara of our trip at “Cantieri,” just three blocks from the hotel, so it’s definitely a great option for exploring Cinque Terre. The only downside was that the room had no minibar.

Everything was excellent, especially Michela’s attention; she was very friendly and proactive.

The room was very spacious, bright, and had a nice design that matched the photos; it had an elevator and was not noisy, and the location was central. The bathroom door and its glass wall gave little privacy, which was a bit of a drawback.

The place was spotlessly cleaned every day, the location was excellent for ferries and restaurants, and the staff were very friendly. The WiFi could be temperamental occasionally.
