The location is great, close to the supermarket, drugstore, restaurants, and light rail. The price is a bit high.
“Great stay”
The location and size were good. The room was too small and the heating was insufficient.
“Abgewohnt, ungemütlich, mangelhaft.”
We only had to spend one night there and the name Crown Hotel feels exaggerated for a second‑floor room above a pub, the room was rather shabby compared with the more than twenty places we’ve stayed in over the past six weeks in Australia, the photo showing parquet was misleading—it was actually a plastic carpet, the décor was worn and needed renovation, water barely drained from the tiny shower tray, there was no place to put things in the bathroom, no toilet brush and no shower mat.
Great location, especially with a Coles that’s open late across the road. Easy access without going into the pub, very quiet, great room, comfy beds. Easy access kitchen for our use. Free coffee, tea, juice, water and cereal.
Everything was ready to use, the location was good, and the place was clean and tidy. At night the room was a bit cold; I couldn’t find an extra blanket for my bed but I did find a heater.
