This unique hotel features a micro-brewery, spacious Art Nouveau-style rooms with modern amenities, and a restaurant with multiple halls serving diverse meals and French wines. This is my favorite hotel in that part of Varna, thanks to its perfect location. The room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom large. The breakfast, however, was very poor for the high price.

The room looked nice at first glance, but nothing else stood out. I expected more from a “Boutique Hotel” than what I actually found. It sits on a main street opposite an industrial port, and the nearest place to eat is a supermarket that’s a long walk away. The room is completely impractical: two large armchairs but no suitable chair for the 3‑metre desk. When I asked the reception for a chair, they had none. In the breakfast room there were enough chairs, as I noticed the next day. The skylight window has no blackout option, so in August at 5 am the room was bright as day and I couldn’t sleep. The tap is so poorly installed that a little turn sends water onto the marble slab instead of into the sink. The basin is so deep that you can’t drink from the tap. There was no toothbrush cup or water glass, no hook to hang anything, no shelf for shower gel in the shower, and the fridge didn’t work. The mattress was completely sagging, and I woke up with back pain the next day. The pillow felt like a board. The hallway smelled musty. The hotel should have a staff member stay in this room to realize that it only looks good on paper and is a nightmare to sleep in.

The staff were nice, but the beds were dirty, very uncomfortable, and the rooms smelled of mold. The shower was completely moldy.

The room was large, but the corridor carpet had been dirty and smelled for a long time. The hotel was fairly expensive. The young lady who prepared breakfast could have been more polite and smiled more.
