The staff were incredibly helpful. The facilities were a bit old and there were some stains, but if you don’t mind those things it should be fine.

Everyone on the team was kind and didn’t show any displeasure when we made requests. Nothing major, but the TV sometimes changed channels on its own—probably linked to a room on the upper floor or nearby; a few times it happened, but turning the power off fixed it.

The place had a noticeable smoke smell.

I was very disappointed to learn it was a love hotel; the description didn’t make that clear and the main picture should have been obvious. The place had a bit of dust, all towels and glasses were sealed in plastic bags which felt odd, and the area seemed somewhat sketchy—don’t recommend if you’re visiting Tokyo. The staff avoided eye contact, there was a creepy song at the entrance, and they told us to lock ourselves in the room, so I didn’t feel safe. We also found a large, apparently used vibrator under the bed, which was close to disgusting.
