The host’s kindness, the peaceful setting, and the proximity to Santillana del Mar made it ideal to start our stay; a small coffee machine at the reception would have been greatly appreciated, though it doesn’t diminish the quality of the accommodation.

The location is fifteen minutes on foot from Santillana del Mar and 750 metres from the Altamira Caves, the owner’s attention is very good, the cleaning is fine, and overall everything is fine; the room is small, the bed and pillows are not very good for my back (they might be fine for someone else), and if it gets hot it can be difficult to sleep, the fans are not enough.

Very well situated, right near the centre, with on‑site parking and a beautiful quiet garden; the room is small, there’s no air conditioning but two fans, and it’s hard to leave the parking when all spots are taken.
