“Für eine Nacht okay, mehr nicht”

The location was okay. The toilet was dirty and unclean upon arrival, and the breakfast was very small with no large selection.

“Da migliorare”

The location is convenient, right in the city center. The building is dated and superficially clean, needing renovation and a deep clean. The beds are comfortable. Parking is available, which is a big plus. The laundry service is available but definitely pricey for the area’s standards. The staff are welcoming. The breakfast is available but definitely low quality despite the wide choice.

“In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, dennoch sauber und gepflegt.”

Guter Empfang. Freundliches Personal. WLAN funktioniert Zimmer sauber Hatte nur 1 Übernachtung Frühstück Asiatisch und Amerikanisch: Hier wurde frisch zubereitetes Rührei oder Omlett angeboten. Restaurant erst ab 18.30 geöffnet. Die Umgebung ist wirklich nicht schön. Wer nicht muss sollte nicht in Sandakan übernachten (das hat nichts mit dem Hotel selbst zu tun!!). Ausblick vom Zimmer auf ein verkommen Wohnviertel

The staff were super lovely and helpful, and I felt safe and comfortable staying there. Overall good value for money. The toilet is the loudest I’ve ever encountered, and showers splash everywhere. Not huge issues, but worth noting if those things bother you.

“Good enough for a quick rest before heading up Kinabitangan.”

A simple and comfortable night’s stay. The restaurant staff were friendly. The location is nice for walking to the mall. It’s a bit dirty and dated, could use fresh paint, but for the price I wouldn’t complain.
