The only redeeming factor is the location. They market and promote it as a boutique hotel, but it isn’t; it’s an old hotel disguised as new by the restaurant. The room they sell as the “best” is noisy, lacks privacy, is old and poorly maintained, and the hotel overall has very little upkeep.

The service from Lili and Jairo was spectacular. The breakfast is very good. It was a unique experience. The staff and service deserve to be highlighted.

María’s Kan Kin was an experience that far exceeded our expectations. The location is simply spectacular, in one of the most beautiful and quiet areas of Isla Mujeres, where you can really disconnect and enjoy the magic of the place. I want to give a special mention to Jairo and especially Lily. Their attention was flawless from start to finish. Lily is an extraordinary host, a true master of hospitality. You can feel the passion, affection, and professionalism with which she takes care of every detail so that guests have an unforgettable experience. There are beautiful places, and there are places that leave a mark. This is one of them. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the most authentic and special essence of Isla Mujeres.
