Eating breakfast in the room was awesome, and the 12:00 checkout let me relax without rushing; the hair dryer worked great for long hair.

The location is convenient—across from a department store, next to Central Park with MRT access, and a 7‑11 downstairs; there are plenty of parking spots nearby. The room was comfortable, the bed was soft and easy to sleep on, though the pillows were too soft. The first time I had breakfast delivered to my room, and the staff were all polite. Next time I visit Kaohsiung, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The gym on the fifth floor was clean and there’s a vending machine for quick snacks. However, there was only one working washer and dryer, so I couldn’t get my laundry done.

Breakfast was abundant, but my two colleagues and I had a nightmare with the room I was given. While theirs were normal with large bathtubs, mine was a bizarre U‑shaped layout with no tub, no place to hang towels or store clothes, and no power outlets near the mirror or iron, making it impossible to use a hair straightener or dryer—so I had to blow‑dry on the bed. The TV was mounted on the bed and the huge floor‑to‑ceiling window reflected it, which was startling in the morning. The bathroom sat in the narrow U‑shaped corridor, completely exposed to the opposite side, and there was nowhere to hang clothes or towels. When I complained to the manager, I was bounced between 9 am and 11 am with no solution, no room change, just promises of a future discount. Eventually a higher‑up offered to rebook me at a comparable hotel, but it was already 11:30 am. Had that been offered around 9 am, I might have thought the hotel was decent, but the room’s photos didn’t show the lack of sockets, the cramped bathroom, or the TV being just a meter from the bed. In short, I paid for an upgraded room but received sub‑par treatment and an extremely uncomfortable stay.
