I had no positive aspects; the experience was terrible.

The spot was spot on for exploring Washington, D.C., but that was the only bright spot in my visit. The hostel itself was filthy, outdated, and made me feel like I was in an old rooming house; I avoided touching most surfaces because everything looked so dirty. The place really needs a deep clean, maintenance, and a full update.

The staff were kind and responsible, and they even deserve government funding to help upgrade the business and offer exceptional services for travelers looking to explore local attractions. No complaints at all!

No positives. The place is marketed as a student hotel, yet it’s basically a shelter for homeless people. When I arrived, a guy was smoking weed in my room with the door closed. The bunk beds were filthy, and the neighborhood was full of vagrants. I was scared and saw a fight at the corner McDonald’s; I would not return or recommend this option.
