“Hotel bellissimo e accoglienza fantastica: ci torneremmo volentieri!”
The hotel is truly beautiful and sits just outside the city; it’s right in front of Terminal D, which is super convenient for arrivals from the airport. After clearing customs, the “LUNA” bus—running once an hour—takes you straight to Terminal D, still under renovation but fully operational; alternatively, the hotel offers a private transfer for about 20 €. The bus stop for the city center is on the right of the hotel exit, so plan to leave a bit early because traffic can be heavy. The return bus stop is a little further down the opposite side of the road. The staff are uniquely kind, speak excellent English, and some speak Italian; upon arrival they welcomed us with a glass of juice and explained the hotel rules carefully. The room was spacious with great windows; it faced the street, so with the heavy traffic and constant honking I still recommend earplugs. The welcome kit was complete, including slippers, water, glasses, tea with kettle and cups, shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, shower cap, and a soap bar. The spa and services include a large pool, a smaller pool with jacuzzi, a gym, a relaxation area with four loungers, a Turkish bath, a sauna, and paid massage options; the hotel also provides slippers, a towel, and a beach towel. Breakfast is served in a large, airy hall with a wide selection of savory items and a great sweet spread, plus a fruit corner, coffee, and juices. On the negative side, the bathroom lacks towel hooks and small bidet towels, and the hairdryer is weak for long or thick hair, though the staff were very helpful and supplied a stronger one. Breakfast service had only one water dispenser for all guests; adding a second or simply water jugs would speed things up and avoid queues. The jacuzzi didn’t work well during our stay, and although the pool is marked as adults‑only, several parents let their children make a lot of noise, even in the large pool; a bit more supervision would make the environment more relaxing for everyone. Elevator management could use improvement—having a service‑only elevator would prevent long waits, especially for guests on the top floor.
