The location was fine, but the room was very small, lacking a microwave, toaster, bowls, and kettle; they automatically charge $50 as a bond from your card and promise a refund in five days, and there’s a $30 parking fee—read the fine print. I’ve given 8 and 10 to every property but can’t do that here; you should seriously reconsider staying here.

The bed was super comfy and it was easy to find, even though Google Maps pointed me to an old address and showed two hotels named Hacienda; check‑in was smooth and it’s great for a one‑night stay, but train and traffic noise was awful—maybe soundproof windows? Morning cleaners were loud in the hallway and woke me up, making it hard to sleep again. The bathroom felt a bit dated and had black hairs in the shower; it wasn’t clear if I had to pay for kitchen coffee, and rooms should at least have a kettle and basic coffee supplies without having to call.

Sydney hotels are all pricey, but this one was relatively affordable and still had basic amenities, plus the female staff handling check‑in and check‑out were very helpful. The location was a bit far from the station and the area wasn’t very safe, so solo female travelers should be cautious.

The place works for a night or two, it has everything you need. The location is great, but the trains make it noisy, so if you’re a very light sleeper it might not be for you.
