The food and the open-air bath exceeded my expectations.

The food was delicious, and the staff quickly adjusted the room assignments for our group, which I appreciated. The open-air bath seemed a bit poorly cleaned.

The room had a traditional style, not a Western bed, and the area was very nice—quiet, not far from the beach. A nighttime stroll around town was peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. The private outdoor onsens that could be booked were a real bonus, and soaking under the stars after a day of exploring felt magical. The firm sleeping surface paired with that experience left me feeling refreshed and gave me the relaxing weekend I didn’t realize I needed. There’s a nice beach within walking distance, good restaurants, and plenty of other attractions within a short drive. I’ll definitely come back.

There were many baths, so I never had to share with other guests, and the futons were fluffy. It would have been better if the room’s pot could boil water, the toilet above the window didn’t have frosted glass, and it would have been nice to have hot water in the bathroom sink.

The meals were delicious, and I loved how warm and comfortable the place felt. The bath had just the right temperature, especially the open-air bath in the morning, which was absolutely wonderful.
