The location is spot on for climbing Snowdon, just a 15‑minute drive from the Llanberis trail start car park; the rooms feel a bit dated yet they’re clean and comfortable, though the extra £10 a day parking charge seemed a bit cheeky; the sauna was out of order during our stay, but the steam room and pool were enjoyable, and the staff were all lovely, friendly, and made us feel very welcome.

The public rooms are beautifully appointed, but the bedrooms desperately need an update—overheating because there’s no air circulation or air‑con, with night‑time temperatures hitting 25 °C in September even with a fan.
