As a cyclist the location was perfect, breakfast matched my taste, and the host was the best you could ask for. I did miss the TV a bit (I was watching football).

“Ferien auf dem Bauernhof”

The holiday farm is set in a truly idyllic spot in the Wald‑/Mühlviertel region, perched on a hill with excellent views of fields, meadows, and woods, making it a perfect launchpad for hikes, bike rides, and motorcycle trips. The courtyard is great for supervised play for kids. The rooms are directly connected and lovingly furnished with wood from the local timber industry. The bathroom/WC is functional, spacious, very clean, and appealing. The central lounge and breakfast area is generous and styled as a farmhouse, featuring a “cannon stove” and wall décor of past farm activities. The outdoor space is very spacious. Free parking is available, even for larger vehicles with trailers. The stables and adjacent riding hall are well maintained and state‑of‑the‑art. Currently there are ten horses on the property. The breakfast is lovingly served by the very friendly host, with cold cuts, preserves, cream cheese, coffee, and hot chocolate. I had no negative experiences personally.

For the price you get not just accommodation but a warm welcome from the host and pleasant company. The pension feels like a family, and I highly recommend it.
