We were given the wrong cabin with no bed for our elderly parent, and the cabin had cobwebs, so we were moved to a larger one. The cabins still need maintenance.
“We enjoyed lazy mornings, day trips to the local area, swimming in the pool during the evening and then sat by the log b”
Very peaceful, cozy, and quiet; the kids loved the swimming pool, and the location was great for exploring the local area.
“Such a great place for kids all ages. Fantastic facilities. Lovely warm cabins with heaters and real wood burning stove.”
A perfect three‑night stay with the kids: the staff were friendly and helpful, we stayed in a one‑bed lodge P9 near the pool, which was spacious and even had a bath. We slept on the sofa bed, which wasn’t super comfy but was adequate; the room was a bit tiered but overall clean and the facilities were great. There was a playroom, table tennis, puzzle room, pool room, and plenty of DVDs on the lodge’s player. We brought our own food instead of eating on site. The pool area was fantastic with a warm pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and gym. The setting in the rolling hills gave us an independent feel compared to larger resorts, and we’d go back.
“Place we wish to visit again”
The place feels like home and is well kept, but it would be nice to have a private Jacuzzi.
“Great location to relax and tour the rural area.”
Excellent rural setting, just a short walk from the botanical garden.
