The host was friendly, the beach hotel was nice, but for the high price I expected a Van der Valk style, and some upkeep is needed. Still, the hospitality—early check‑in, the option to drop by for coffee or tea after check‑out, and the toilet—was welcoming. The beds were good, breakfast was well organized, and the island location is pleasant. The price was 170 for one night.

The accommodation was centrally located, we had a small garden available, the beach was a five‑minute walk, and the old lighthouse was our neighbor; breakfast was great and the dining room very cozy. Everything was to our satisfaction.

A very nice, bright small lounge with free coffee and tea, plus cold drinks in the fridge. The place is centrally situated. The rooms with bathrooms were beautiful, clean, recently renovated, and the mattresses were top quality. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was missing. The staff were friendly and gladly fulfilled requests.

It was on the Singel Wangerooge. The bathroom was moldy, dust flakes on the walls and lamps, the bathroom heater was filthy, and the landlord’s hair was inside. While showering everyone in the building could see that I was showering; the window above the shower reflected everything into the stairwell. Towels and bed linen were like old rugs. The whole house smelled musty. The breakfast buffet was okay.
